Will 'Kantara 2' boast of a 125 cr budget?

The makers of the successful movie 'Kantara' are now working on a prequel, 'Kantara 2', which is reportedly being made on a budget of Rs 125 crore. The prequel will be set in Mangalore, unlike the first part which was set in Kundapura. The team aims to start shooting from November 2023 and release the film in late 2024.
