Akshay's Sarfira earns just over Rs 18 crore in Week 1

Akshay Kumar's Sarfira, a remake of Tamil film Soorarai Pottru, earned Rs 18.80 crore in its first week. Despite strong weekend numbers, the film struggled during weekdays. It clashed with Kamal Haasan's Indian 2, which earned Rs 70 crore. Kumar's upcoming projects include Sky Force, Housefull 5, and Welcome to the Jungle.
